Pearl Harbor

Called Al Lewis of Pan Am again this morning, but he hasn’t returned yet.

Incidentally, Odell took a plane down to Johnston Island. This morning to join Fisler down there.

We now have a total of four planes in the squadron — two at Johnston and two here. Of the two here, only one is flyable, the other having been wrecked by Mr. Moffett at Palmyra — he landed with his nose wheel unlocked, and when it folded up on him, he found himself going down the runway on his nose.
