Barbers Point NAS

Out to the squadron this morning in the pouring rain with Wally and Fuzzy and “Rose-Mary,” who leaks like a sieve.

Briefed at Hickam by the Army this afternoon. Got all the dope on the facilities down under. Very well done. Oliver, during the lecture, Lecture, wrote Savio (communications) a note, which ran: “Savio – notice how well the army has condensed this dope. You don’t need a wheelbarrow to get it to the plane!”

Into town again. Had dinner up at Patu’s and stayed overnight again.
