Enroute to Alameda NAS aboard USS Yorktown

Nothing to do but eat, sleep throw the ball and gamble (bridge and poker). Spoke to a war correspondent aboard named Cant concerning my part in the Helena episode. He intends to write up the whole story of the Helena. 

On Monday the 13th we docked at Alameda Air Station pier (after damn near hitting a Bay Bridge pier on the way under). We found the Skipper and Edgar waiting for us (they had flown over). Moffett is now a full commander. Put up at the BOQ for the night.
