Drove over to Magenta Bay with Ryder (Lt., USNR) and Bright (Lt., USMCR-VSB);  to the former’s radio station. Very fine set up with enough power to snow the Japs under.

Spent the noon hour with D. on the beach. The sun soon went out and it started to rain, though.

D. came over to see the evening movie — “The Long Voyage Home.” Walked along the beach afterwards.
