Pearl Harbor

Day off. Went into town and looked up Marion Robinson – the girl whom Noje’s roommate at Roswell N.M. is so stuck on, according to Noje. As with Patu, she is not a beautiful girl, but is quite attractive. She works in the personal loan department of the Bishop Bank.

Met Patu at noon, and after a little shopping, went to Trader Vic’s and soaked up a couple of “Fog Cutters” — whew — I walked on clouds the rest of the afternoon. We then drove down to the Halekulani and went for a swim. Patu dropped me off in town at 5 p.m. on her way home. I managed to get back to the BOQ without mishap and ran into Vic Moitoret. Slept a couple of hours before going to dinner.
