Perth, Western Australia

Moved into Perth late this afternoon to the Commercial Travelers Association – the only spare rooms in town.

Women, women everywhere. A good percentage of these Australian women are good-looking. Many with dark hair, blue eyes, and magnificent complexions. Styles are much more up-to-date here, than they were in Brisbane. Also the city itself is better developed and contains many fair-sized buildings.

I wouldn’t mind living in Australia. Although I think I would prefer Sydney, despite never having seen it. I’ll bet a chain of American type drugstores (àla Walgreens) would go over big in this country.

In getting off the Holland, I pulled my usual stunt, and managed to fall crashing down one of those steel ships ladders to land at the bottom with all my luggage atop me. I think I cracked a couple ribs under my right arm.

Made arrangements to have my trunk set here from Brisbane. Hope I’m here when it comes.
